Careers
Geis of Anam is a dark Celtic fantasy action RPG focused on readable combat, dual-realm gameplay, atmospheric worldbuilding, and emotionally grounded storytelling. The project is in active prototyping and pre-funding development under Funder Games.
We are building a collaborative team around craftsmanship, ownership, iteration, and growth.
We pair experienced developers with emerging talent who want meaningful production experience and room to contribute at a higher level.
We value reliability, communication, willingness to improve, and investment in the work more than rigid years-of-experience requirements.
Ownership and follow-through matter as much as raw technical skill.
The team is fully remote. Most collaboration happens around U.S. Central Time hours, with flexibility for contributors in other regions as long as communication stays reliable.
The goal is dependable coordination, not forcing everyone into the same schedule.
Current roles are volunteer collaborations while the project pursues funding and publishing opportunities. Contributors join for ownership, portfolio growth, production experience, and the chance to shape the project early.
As the project grows, the goal is to open paid opportunities for long-term contributors.
We use AI-assisted tools selectively to accelerate iteration and reduce repetitive work. AI should support developers and artists, not replace creative ownership or craftsmanship.
Final creative direction, implementation quality, and artistic decisions remain human-led. Contributors should be comfortable working in a pipeline where AI tooling increases leverage without replacing accountability.
Direct collaboration across disciplines with visibility into production and technical decision-making.
Feedback and mentorship designed to help contributors build confidence and professional range.
Documented workflows, Git-based version control, and clear communication expectations from day one.
We post specific collaboration roles when the project needs them. We also review aligned general applications while prototyping continues.
